Problem Statement

The market lacked a seamless, trustworthy mobile solution where pet owners could list their pets, and potential adopters could find a new companion via a secure, managed environment. Key challenges included ensuring safe listings, robust vetting, instant communication, real-time search, and integrated payments — all within one mobile experience.

Objective & Goals

  • Enable Safe Transactions
    Integrate secure payment gateways, account verification and live chat to support trust between users.
  • Simplify Pet Listings & Search
    Offer easy-to-use listing tools (photos, descriptions, availability) and a clean search/filter experience.

Task

At Candev Agency, our task was to design and build the full mobile experience for Fauna from concept through launch. We started with user-journey mapping for both pet­listers and adopters, crafted wireframes and high-fidelity UI prototypes in Figma, then developed the mobile apps using Flutter for cross-platform consistency and Laravel on the back-end to manage listings, payments, chat, reviews and admin panels. Rigorous testing (including Appium) ensured performance and reliability across devices. The final deliverable is a polished, user-centric mobile solution enabling users to list, browse, chat, transact and close pet adoptions with confidence.
