Quote It is a home services marketplace connecting homeowners with local service providers across Ontario, Canada. We built both the web platform and mobile apps for iOS and Android. Homeowners snap a photo, post their job, and receive quotes from nearby pros within minutes. Service providers get free leads, submit competitive pricing, and get booked directly through the app. The platform covers everything from kitchen renovations and painting to lawn care, pressure washing, and general contracting.

Overview
Quote It is a two-sided marketplace for home services in Canada. Homeowners post jobs with photos and details, local service providers get notified instantly and submit their best price, and the homeowner picks the right pro based on price, reviews, and availability. Think of it as a direct connection between people who need things done and the local pros who can do it, without the middleman markup.
Challenge
Building a marketplace means solving two problems at once. Homeowners need a fast, simple way to describe a job and compare quotes. Service providers need quality leads without paying upfront fees. The app had to handle real-time notifications, location-based matching, in-app quoting, a booking flow, and a review system, all while keeping the experience simple enough that someone can post a job in under a minute using just a photo and a few words.

Solution
We built a cross-platform mobile app and web platform with a four-step flow: post job, get quotes, book pro, rate and review. The backend handles real-time push notifications to nearby service providers based on location and service category. We integrated a quoting engine where pros submit pricing with details, a booking confirmation system, and a full review and rating module. The interface stays clean on both sides. Homeowners see quotes in a simple comparison view. Service providers get a lead dashboard with job details and photos upfront.
