Receni is an AI-powered receipt scanner and expense tracker app for iOS and Android. We built the entire product from concept to launch, including AI-based receipt parsing that reads merchant names, dates, tax, and totals in under 10 seconds. The app features multiple workspaces for personal and business expenses, budget tracking with threshold alerts, dashboard insights, CSV export, and multi-currency support. Clean design, fast performance, and real spending clarity without the spreadsheet pain.

Receni is a receipt scanning and expense tracking app that turns paper receipts into organized spending data. The goal was to build a personal finance tool that feels simple on the surface but runs serious AI under the hood. Users can scan receipts, set budgets, track spending by category, and export reports for tax season, all from their phone.
Challenge
Most expense apps either look outdated or bury users in features they don't need. The challenge was building AI-powered OCR that actually works on faded thermal receipts, while keeping the interface clean enough that someone opens the app voluntarily. We also needed multi-workspace support so freelancers and small business owners could separate personal and business spending without switching apps.

We built a cross-platform mobile app with a custom AI parsing engine that extracts merchant, date, line items, tax, and totals from any receipt photo. Added workspace switching, budget alerts, category breakdowns, monthly digest emails, and one-click CSV export. The design stays minimal and fast. Every screen was tested for speed because nobody wants a slow finance app. Available on both App Store and Google Play with free, standard, premium, and enterprise tiers.
